New River Galleries

Fort Lauderdale Scheduled Showings

For the next few months - fantastic showings are scheduled to highlight the season on the Gold Coast. The works of Kerry Hellam will be featured in late October with a champagne reception. In January 2002 there will be a showing for Royo with a champagne reception. A showing for Hessman will follow in February and Karen Stene's works will be shown in March with a champagne reception.

Hessam Abrishami was born in Iran in 1951 and began painting at the age of 15. He received his Master's Degree in Fine Art at the Academi De Belle Arti "Pietro Vanucci" in Perugia, Italy. Hessam now lives in the United States. His chosen medium is acrylic on canvas. Hessam explores a realm which the French press has called, "A statement in the fluidity of human figures." These figurative, abstract images are composed of vivid primary colors and reflect graceful movements of human emotions.
